Hello to those who have agreed to participate in my online research. I am a student at Queen's University Belfast and I have chosen to complete a dissertation project on the topic of 'The Americanization of Ireland'. It aims to study the methods by which those responsible for tourist experiences advertise and portray Ireland. I want to gather an American perspective on personal tourist experiences in hope that it will shed light on just how legitimate the Irish Heritage experience appears to be, or does it depend heavily on stereotypes such as 'Leprechauns' and 'Lucky Shamrocks'.
